Annual book fairs and festivals provide access to literary resources and authors. Commonly sponsored by local associations and corporations, these festivals benefit educational institutions, and the community. One of the most notable is the Baltimore Book Festival, which is held with Light City each November at the Inner Harbor as part of Brilliant Baltimore. Due to the coronavirus, the next Book Festival will take place in November 2021, while the next Light City will occur in November 2022.
