George Washington University; Pennsylvania College of Optometry, O.D., 1953. Optometrist. Member, 21st District and Vansville District Democratic Clubs; Beltsville Citizens' Association; Beta Sigma Kappa; American Legion; Veterans of Foreign Wars; Prince George's County Boys and Girls Clubs; Beltsville Swimming Club. Past president, Takoma-Langley Kiwanis Club. Member, national, State and local optometric associations. Past president, Vision Institute of America. Maryland Optometrist of the Year, 1967. National Optometrist of the Year, American Optometric Association, 1968. Member, Beth Torah Congregation, Hyattsville, Maryland. Married; four children, nine grandchildren. Died in Charlottesville, Virginia, February 17, 2012.
