Born in El Salvador, October 7, 1974. Attended Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Greenbelt, Maryland; University of Maryland, College Park, B.A. (ancient art history & archaelogy); University of Maryland, University College, B.S. (computer studies & information systems). Campaign legislative aide to Delegate Victor R. Ramirez, District 47, Prince George's County, 2002. Phyllis Campbell Newsome Public Policy Leadership Award, Center for Nonprofit Advancement, 2006. Civic Leadership Award, Prince George's Community Foundation, 2013. Married.

On January 5, 2017, Mr. Campos pled guilty in U.S. District Court to federal charges of bribery and conspiracy to solicit and accept bribes. On May 16, 2018, he was sentenced to 54 months (4˝ years) in federal prison to be followed by three years of supervised release.
