In September 2006, the Governor authorized the Maryland Pandemic Influenza Coordinating Committee (Executive Order 01.01.2006.08). The Committee oversaw the development and implementation of a State strategic plan for responding to a severe pandemic influenza outbreak.
The Committee last met in late 2006.
